Recrean rostro del Señor de Sipán: responsables brindaron detalles a Tv Perú

Parte del equipo que logró reconstruír el rostro del Señor de Sipán, gracias a la tegnología 3D conversó con Tv Perú y brindó detalles de esta proesa, que nos acerca más a un personaje importante de nuestra historia.

La recreación del rostro del Señor de Sipán, el mayor soberano de la cultura prehispánica Mochica, muestra la apariencia que tuvo el primer gran gobernante que se conoce del antiguo Perú, cuya figura es comparada con el faraón egipcio Tutankamón por su fastuosa tumba.

El Señor de Sipán, reinó en la costa norte de Perú durante el siglo III d.C., mucho antes de que llegaran a esa zona los Incas, gozó de buena salud antes de fallecer a una edad que oscila entre los 40 y 55 años, según los análisis forenses.

Tras un arduo trabajo de tres meses, expertos en antropología forense de Brasil y el apoyo de la universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega de Lima, lograron reconstruir, a partir de los restos óseos, la imagen aproximada de lo que sería el rostro del Señor de Sipán.

Archeologists unveiled a 3D reconstruction of the Great Lord of Sipan, the ruler of the Mochica culture [50 AD and 700 AD], whose remains was discovered in 1987, in Lima, Wednesday.
Scientists and archeologists from Brazil produced a 3D reconstruction of the Great Lord of Sipan, following a long process of forensic tests on the remains of the leader. It is the first time that the ruler's face has been seen in 12 centuries.
